castle on Castle Hill at Findon, belonging to Hamelyn de Troup,
attacked by the Sheriff of Banff. The Hamelyns are allies of the
Comyns.

The
castles on Castle Hill, Cullykhan and Dundarg, along with other
Comyn strongholds in the north-east are destroyed in the terrible
"Harrying on Buchan" by Robert the Bruce.

For
their service to Robert the Bruce, the Keiths are given Comyn lands
in Buchan, including the Troup estate of Northfield.
