Driftwood Cottage

Driftwood Cottage is situated 50 yards from the shore in Denside. A former fisherman’s cottage set out on three floors with a wood burning stove at its heart.

A very comfortable holiday home with two bedrooms, one twin and one double with a king size bed. It has a well appointed kitchen with a range style cooker. A separate utility room has laundry facilities and an upright freezer. There are two sitting rooms one of which is on the lower ground floor, they both have smart TVs with the normal free to air channels plus ability to watch the channels that you subscribe to at home. The internet is fast. The cottage has a great fenced in garden and we welcome dogs. Access to the shore and the beach is down a few steps and you are there. The cottage has a fenced in garden with a bench type seat and picnic table, loads of rosemary and fennel in the summer. It is a short walk to the Wee Shoppie for a bottle of wine or the hotel is even closer, about two minutes brisk walk. Two minutes in the other direction is the shoreline. You will love it here!

Please note that we have based our cleaning processes on the Association of Scotland’s Self Caterers (ASSC) Protocols following successfully undertaking their training course.  Risk Assessments are available for you to view in the property and we operate a checklist system to ensure we repeat our disinfection and anti viral routines to the same standard at every changeover.  We have also subscribed to the Good to Go scheme – this is UK wide and managed in Scotland by Visit Scotland.
